The 2015 WRX was introduced by Subaru back in November at Los Angeles Auto Show. Now we have a first look at the hotter STI variant. It features a more aggressive body kit in Subaru’s World Rally Blue, paired with gold alloy wheels. This finish is expected to be reserved for the first edition, but it may come with additional enhancements.
The WRX uses a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder boxer rated at 268 bhp (249 kW) & 258 lbft (349Nm), but the STI is rumored get a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 bhp (393 Nm) and 290 lbf (393 kW).
Already teased Subaru will reveal its “iconic performance flagship vehicle” in Detroit later this year.
