Lexus has unveiled the 2014 RC Coupe before the public debut at Tokyo Motor Show later in the month.

The all-new RC takes inspiration from the LF–LC and LF–CC concepts. It has a lower and more contoured front grille. The RC features three LED lamps in its triangular headlights. It is available with either 18-inch, five-spoke muscular alloys (or optional 19-inch, deeply sculpted 10-spoke rims) with black or platinum center caps.

The Lexus interior cabin was inspired by recent designs and includes the first lightning package, which has illumination that reflects upwards rather than downwards. The instrument panel is located in the upper part of the dashboard. A seven-inch navigation screen is found on the center console. A built-in Remote Touch Interface is featured on the layered central console. This novelty is unique to a Lexus model.

Two versions of the RC Coupe will be on display at the Tokyo Motor Show: RC 350 Hybrid and RC 300h. The V6 3.5-liter gasoline engine will power the first version, while the second will use a 2.5-liter engine that is combined with an electric motor. Each version measures 184.8 inches (4693mm), is 54.9 inches (1394mm), tall, 72.4 inch (1838mm), wide, and has a 107.5-inch (2270mm) wheelbase.

The range-topping RC F has already been developed, taking into consideration that Lexus has rademarked “RC F” as the moniker . It will likely have a V8 5.0-liter engine with around 455 horsepower (339 kW) & 543 Nm (409 lb-ft). It will be displayed at the 2014 NAIAS Detroit.
