BMW has finally revealed the new 7 Series after a series of teasers and leaks.
The 7-Series’ evolutionary exterior has been criticised for being too conservative. It is designed to combine “supreme dynamics ability” and “luxurious long-distance confort.” The model’s front fascia features a prominent twin kidney grille. It is flanked either by standard LED or optional Laserlight headlights. The luxurious sedan features LED fog lights, front vents, and a lot of chrome trim. You will also find L-shaped taillights, a range of wheels in sizes from 17- to 21 inches.
BMW will offer long-wheelbase and standard variants as usual. The new model is 14cm longer (5.5 inches) and features a large rear passenger compartment.
The interior features Dakota leather and Nappa leather upholstery, as well as wood trims and aluminum accents. It also features touch sensitive controls, metallic switchgear and a new iDrive infotainment platform with a touchscreen interface and gesture control technology.
An Executive Lounge package can be ordered on long-wheelbase models for those who want to live in luxury. The package includes a 4-zone automatic climate control system, ventilated seating, and power rear seats with a Massage function. The Executive Lounge rear console houses a fold-out table, cup holders, and a 7″ Touch Command tablet.
Another notable option is a Sky Lounge Panorama glass roof on LWB variants, a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround system sound system, and an AmbientAir package that ionizes and releases one of eight aromas.
There will be several powertrains under the hood.
