Tank built by a father-son team.
How do you build a tank? This Youtuber used Mitsubishi Delica Van with some amazing wood carving skills to fulfill their battle tank dreams. Dads can help their sons build a tank of their dreams. A used Mitsubishi van is transformed into a convincing battle tank by a single vision and extensive modifications.
This build was inspired by a father-son team playing World of Tanks. Online competitors compete in this game using various armored vehicles from the WWII.0_ era . YouTuber ND- Woodworking Art and his son were clearly huge fans of the game, as they transformed a Mitsubishi Van into an EBR105 working tank from the World of Tanks game.
The EBR 105 was a French wheeled reconnaissance vehicle that could move fast and pack a lot of firepower. The EBR 105 has 8 wheels. To prevent them from flattening under enemy fire, the rubber tires at either the front or rear were made of nitrogen cells. The metal wheels at the middle of each side aid in all-terrain grip. To maintain its speed, the EBR 105 relied only on its rubber tires when it was on smooth terrain and used additional metal wheels for more difficult terrain. The EBR 105 could achieve speeds of approximately 62 mph on smooth pavement.
Although the EBR 105 was never used in large-scale military service, it has gained popularity with World of Tanks. This mobile wood carving allows the world to enjoy the EBR 105 design.
