The car was built to raise funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It features a Grabber Blue exterior, gloss black accents, and Citic Dicastal tires. Recaro seats are included as well as a Grabber Blue-colored X-brace.
The standard model has a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 440 horsepower (328 kW/ 446 PS) as well as 380 lbft (515Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to rear wheels via a Torsen limited slip differential.
Steve Davis, Barrett-Jackson president, stated that the Boss Mustang would have a low production number and will be built specifically for our 40th Anniversary event.
