The standard model has a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 440 horsepower (328 kW/ 446 PS) as well as 380 lbft (515Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to rear wheels via a Torsen limited slip differential.

Steve Davis, Barrett-Jackson president, stated that the Boss Mustang would have a low production number and will be built specifically for our 40th Anniversary event. The new owner will enjoy a piece of performance history. This is a rare chance to help charity and take home a highly desirable, modern collectible car.
