The Rockingham Dragway in North Carolina is home to the fastest remote-controlled car in the world at over 260 km/h (161.76 miles per hour).
It’s a motorized skateboard, but it requires engineering talent to be able to reach 161.76 mph (260 km/h), while maintaining aerodynamic stability.
Nic Case set the world record for fastest remote-controlled car at Rockingham Dragway, North Carolina, United States of America.
We must give Mr. Case all the credit he deserves. He spent six months on this Schumacher Mi3 and it is truly impressive. The remote-control car is constructed of carbon-fiber chassis. It is powered by an electric motor with 11 horsepower and a 12-cell battery. Case spent over $4,000 to construct the car.
Case isn’t content with his accomplishment. Case plans to break his own record by driving a remote-controlled car at 200 mph (322 km/h), called the “Streamliner”.
