It’s still more than the Kia 2018 price.

The Kia full-year sales report for 2019 is out. Overall, the Korean automaker reported a strong sales performance compared to 2018.

In 2018, Kia sold 615 338 cars in the U.S., a 4.4% increase over the 589,673 units that were sold in 2018. The K900 was the most popular of all the automakers sold in America, with only 390 units sold during 2019.

The Stinger was smaller than the K900, but sold well with 13,861 units in 2019. However, it was a 17.5% sales decline compared to 2018, when the K900 saw a 10.2 percent increase in sales.

The Sportage, on the other hand, posted its best-ever annual sales performance for the second year in a row, selling 89 278 units in 2019, compared to the 82 823 units sold in 2018. It’s not the only Kia SUV to have a positive sales performance. The Soul, Niro and Sorento saw sales declines in 2019.

There’s still hope. Kia just announced the Seltos last year. This could prove to be a great success story for the brand. It has the look of a top-selling car, but it will be interesting to see if American buyers actually buy it.

Another model worth keeping an eye on is the Telluride. It is designed to satisfy the American market’s desire for SUVs and seems to be working. In 2019, the three-row crossover was sold in 58,604 units within its first 11 months of being on sale. Let’s hope that it continues to be popular this year.
