Ouch! Ferrari Roma Gets Stuck on Narrow Italian Street
This is definitely not going to make you feel better.
The Ferrari Roma V8 supercar is stunningly designed. Frank Stephenson, an ex-Ferrari designer, gave the grand tourer a remarkable 9.5 out 10. The remaining 0.5 was due to design changes he would like to see. However, this unit was spotted in Europe and will not be. A video was uploaded by SupercarNews A silver Ferrari Roma Roma was captured in an extremely tight spot on YouTube. Video embedded at the top of this page shows how the Roma was stuck on a narrow Italian street.
Although we aren’t sure exactly what happened, it appears that the driver thought his Ferrari was narrower than the narrow alley. It was a very distressing sight to see, but the driver can’t be blamed.
The Roma is not a small car. It is 1,974 millimeters wide (77.7 in) and 4,656mm (183.3 inches) long. This makes it nearly as wide as the 488 Pista, and more than two inches longer. We don’t know the exact width of this unknown alley, but Italy is well-known for its small streets.
Although not clearly visible in the video, it is likely that this Roma has already suffered some damage from this incident. It is possible for deep scratches to the shoulders to occur, which could cause serious damage to the car and wallet.
It’s not clear if the Roma got out of the alley, but some say that it is still there trying to get out. We hope the driver or owner is okay, and that his insurance covers the damage.
