Oullim Motors Spirra Supercar

The Spirra uses mid-engined carbon-fiber bodies that cover a space-frame chassis.

Proto Motors’ first Spirra sportscar was unveiled in 2005. It was a stunning sports car. Proto Motors was purchased by Oullim Motors in 2007. They upgraded the powertrain to a turbocharged, supercharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that produces about 400 horsepower. They called them the Spirra S and Spirra Turbo respectively. The production version was presented by the Korean manufacturer last week at Beijing’s 2008 Auto China motor show.

There is also a race version of the Spirra GT270, which produces 600 horsepower, and a drag-race version, the Spirra GT460, which uses both a turbocharger and supercharger to generate around 700 horsepower.

The Spirra uses a mid-engined carbon-fiber body that covers a space frame chassis. Oullim Spirra will be available in Korea for around USD 100,000 later this year. Oullim Motors plans to sell 100 units and increase production to 300 by next year.
