Do not weep while watching this drone video.

Earlier in the month, GM’s Bowling Green Kentucky plant and Corvette Museum were both hit by a tornado. More than 120 C8 Corvettes were severely damaged by the destructive force of nature. Chevrolet had to remove all damaged units. We found this video of the Corvettes waiting to be crushed.

YouTube’s uploaded the drone video. The video shows the damage caused by the tornado from a variety of angles. It is a sad sight. Corvette Blogger reported that between 115 and 122 Corvettes were damaged by the tornado.

The tornado also caused a fire at the Corvette factory, which resulted in the destruction of the roof and one of the entrances to the employees. All workers were able to escape safely, but we can’t speak for the factory.

The video’s second half shows repairs that are currently being made to Bowling Green. The automaker appears to have begun repairing the roofs. Clean-up and repairs are expected to continue until 2022.
