Paris Scene: Toyota Auris Touring Sports is here

Toyota presented the Auris wagon variant in Paris, which they call Touring Sports.

This is the first time when Toyota’s Auris model receives an estate/wagon variant, a version which is 285mm longer than the five-door hatchback. It also represents the first model in the segment to be offered with a full hybrid powertrain.

The Auris Touring Sports retains the 2600mm wheelbase, but it is 285mm wider to provide more load space. The front looks of both versions are identical, but the estate version has a different profile, with the steeply raked windshield flowing into the extended roofline. It also features anodized aluminum rails, a rear spoiler and a rear spoiler.

The bumper and tailgate now have a new styling. While the sill on the hatchback is 80mm lower, the sill has been lowered by 80mm. The taillights have been modified to take on a more wagon-like look.
