Only 21 examples will ever be made.

The 660 LMS is officially unveiled by Picasso Automotive, a Swiss startup supercar company. This is the production version of the PS-01 prototype , that was first teased back in January 2013. The vehicle made its debut at the Top Marques Monaco, and it is now available for order.

The gallery below shows a performance car that was designed and engineered from scratch. Picasso Automotive In its factory in San Vittore. The platform is made from a mixture of aluminum and carbon fiber. The monocoque is made from carbon fiber, and the bodywork can be assembled piece by piece. According to the automaker, the panels are the longest ever made of carbon fiber for a car’s body. The 660 LMS is just 2,160 pounds (980 kg) because of these measures.

Picasso wanted the interior to be comfortable and efficient for daily use as well as on track. Many of the design elements are inspired by race cars such as the six-point seatbelts and the rotary selector for the adjustable ABS and traction control modes. There is also a bespoke carbon fiber steering wheels wrapped in Alcantara.

The 660 LMS’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 motor powers the engine. It is supplied by Autotecnica Motori an Italian company that designs and manufactures competition engines. Picasso designed the six-cylinder mill. It produces 660 horsepower (485 Kilowatts) as well as 541 pound-feet (701 Newton-meters). Although the 660 LMS engine is its first use on a road-legal vehicle, “the track” is the engine’s natural environment. Through a six-speed sequential Sadev gearbox, the power reaches its rear wheels.

Performance is crucial for vehicle track performance. Picasso spent much time running CFD simulations, and testing the 660 LMS inside the wind tunnel. The aero pack includes a large front splitter and rear manually operated wings, a flat floor, and a massive diffuser. It generates 2,116 lbs (960kg) of maximum downforce at speeds of 196 mph (315 km/h). The wheels are 19 inches front and 20 inches rear with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R. Brembo’s front and rear brakes are equipped with six-piston and four-piston Brembo calipers.
