Godzilla vs Bimmer. Both biturbo as well as Bimmer pack a punch. Which is faster?
The GTR has gained a lot of popularity and a serious reputation for being fast, long before it ever set foot on American soil. This Nissan superstar is so powerful that many cars were pitted against it in various situations, including drag strip racing, drifting battles and race track. The BMW M3 has been a challenger to Godzilla over the years. It has failed numerous times. I don’t know why, but it is just not enough.
It’s amazing to see the M4 coupe go up against the GT-R at a quarter-mile drag track. This Bimmer had a better chance of beating Godzilla. We didn’t want the GT-R losing, but we thought a bit more competition would be great.
This video shows two races that switched places after the previous one. The GT-R was all set to defend its crown in the first race. The GT-R quickly took the lead and began to move away from its challenger. The M4 did not give up. The M4 galloped well along the strip, decreasing the gap towards the quarter mile but not enough. The GT-R won with 10.61 seconds, while the M4 was second with 10.99 seconds.
The GT-R was closer to the camera at the second race. It looked like they were in a close race. The GT-R did not give up its crown. It’s relentless. The 565 horsepower biturbo powerplant was too much for the M4 to handle. The GT-R completed the quarter-mile in 10.59 seconds while the M4 took 10.99.
