Poland’s Arrinera is accused of being a fake replica – and not a supercar

Poland's Arrinera is accused of being a fake replica - and not a supercar
According to Polish media, the Arrinera supercar could be nothing more than a replica car that has been overworked.

According to reports in Poland, the Arrinera supercar was merely a reconstructed car. Jacek Balkan (Polish online TV and radio host) has presented compelling evidence that the Arrinera supercar is a poor replica.

Balkan sent images to WCF showing the interior of the Arrinera closely resembling that of the Lamborghini El Toro reproduction from Poland’s Bojar tuning. Interior components like the dash panel, air vents and glove compartment were taken from Opel Corsa, while the Audi A6(C5) is the donor vehicle for the instrument cluster, center console, and entire electrical system.

Balkan reveals that Veno SA, the producer of the Arrinera, and a listed company in NewConnect – an alternative stock market run under the Warsaw Stock Exchange – purchased the El Toro copy with the intention of manipulating its share prices following a massive media push for the vehicle’s debut.

It is not clear if these claims are true, but Veno SA announced that the model will go into production in late 2014. Prices start at PS100,000. (USD116,740 / USD160,060).
