A duPont Registry seller listed a Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion, one of the most exclusive supercars ever produced. This exclusive Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion was limited to 20 units by the German carmaker. However, they intended to make 25 more in order for homologation of the 911 GT1 for FIA competition. This Porsche 911 GT1 is the last Porsche car built. It’s therefore even more desirable.
Porsche had to adjust the output of its flat-six, 3.2-liter engine in order to comply with emission regulations. However, the engine still produces 537 horsepower (400 kW/ 544 PS). The Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion weighs in at just 2,535 lbs (1,149 kg) and takes only 3.9 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 62 mph. It can also reach a maximum speed limit of 191 mph.
The 911 GT1 was designed for track driving, but the road-legal version has a more rigid suspension and a higher ride height. The racer’s carbon ceramic rotors were replaced with steel rotors. Inside the carpeted cabin, there is a full dashboard, sport seats, and a fully equipped instrument panel.
Porsche has serviced the car, which has only been driven 3,045 miles (4900 km). The 911 GT1 Strassenversion is listed as being in “museum condition”. It’s located in Monheim in Germany. In the advertisement, the seller mentions that this rare supercar is available for inspection.
