Porsche 911 GT2 RS renders a new Porsche 911 GT2 RS

The distant future in three to four years.

The new Porsche 911 is better than the previous model. We expect more versions of this sports car to debut over the coming months and years, with the company already accepting orders in many countries. The 911 GT2RS should also be on the list. Here’s what it might look like.

The GT2 RS was launched in 2017. It is still the most powerful 911 production ever made. Porsche produced just 1,000 copies of the coupe. However, four of them were lost during transit to Brazil when Grande America was submerged earlier this month. Porsche made the decision to make it. Restart production To reproduce the cars that were lost.

This rendering shows an evolution of the GT2 RS, the model that will replace today’s. This car is based on the 992 series. You can see some visual characteristics such as the design of the headlights. The front bumper has smaller air intakes and a less striking overall look. The front lip spoiler is also less visible than it was before.

The GT2 RS is a brute:

We expect to see the Turbo model and the first GT models very soon, with the new 911 and 911 Cabriolet already out and about. The new GT2 RS will not be available before 2021, or more likely 2022, and possibly 2023, as the new 911’s lifespan ends. Although it’s too soon to know what power source the model will use, Porsche is betting that the traditional turbocharged flat-six engine will be used without electrification.
