Gold Bronze Metallic is a subtle shade. A bronze shade is found where the light hits the skin. The color appears more silvery in areas with less illumination.
More than 100 colors are available from the Paint to Sample program /718 Boxster/ Cayman models. There are more than 50 colors available for the Taycan and Cayenne models.
The Paint to Sample Plus program is available for those who want a unique color on their car. The Paint to Sample Plus program allows buyers to request a color they don’t have in stock. The creation of the paint takes at most five months. Customers pay for this development. After the customer has provided their name and shade, the company will record it in the Porsche Color Database. The standard Paint to Sample program is then created.
On a standard 911, a Paint to Sample color order costs $11,430 The price for a 911 Turbo, or GT3 goes up to $12,830. Paint to Sample Plus costs $22,860 on most models, and $25,660 on the 911 Turbo or GT models.
Porsche added a color-mixing bank to its Paint to Sample program in the latter part of 2021. The company can now paint 20 special-order cars per day instead of five previously.
Porsche takes two days to complete the 117-stage assembly of a 911. Each car is touched by approximately 1,500 people.
