When it comes to spy shots of future vehicles, we usually only talk about what can be seen. Let’s not get into the details. damn it looks fast. The naturally-aspirated flat-six 4.0-liter engine roaring to 9,500 rpm gives the car an illusion of speed. The video begins with a GT3RS prototype driving into the Nordschleife. The test driver is quick to get the engine up to its limits. We are not talking about an illusion speed. The car responds. It’s simply blazing fast.
We are treated to numerous GT3 RS prototypes bouncing from corner to corner, with exhaust notes occasionally mixing into tire scrub, as drivers take full advantage of every opportunity. This session is about pushing the cars to their limits, with the exception of a short intermission at 2:47.
What are the changes in GT3 RS? Aerodynamic changes made to the GT3 RS are obvious. The RS has a larger rear wing. You can’t miss the RS classic fender vents. The GT3 RS is a beast on the track thanks to its roof strakes and brake cooling ducts. It should also have slightly more power, probably around 520 horsepower.
The GT3 was unveiled over a year ago. We expect Porsche will unveil the GT3 RS any time now.
