Is the 911 limited variant returning for the 992 generation model?
Although there are many Porsche 911 variants available, the 911 Sport Classic is the most sought-after. The serialized 997-generation 911 Sport Classic has a small production run, an exotic body, Fuchs-style alloy tires, double-bubble roofing, and, most importantly, stick-shift.
This hypothesis is accompanied by another sighting at the Nurburgring of an unidentified 911 prototype. The flat-out run can be viewed by Carspotter Jeroen The video is above and features the eargasmic exhaust sounds coming from these massive outlets.
Although the sighting in April was a lot like what you see now, we love the raw sound of this spy video upload. The 911 Sport Classic prototype is unmistakably the same as before.
Many design details are openly revealed, but there’s not much to hide from other 911 derivatives that are already on the market. The usual ducktail spoiler is there, along with the twin-domed roof, and wider fender flares. The 911 TurboS is also used in the front and rear fascias.
The rumored 911 Sport Classic could use the same powertrain as the Porsche 911 GTS, a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-six engine with 473 horsepower (352 Kilowatts) & 420 pound-feet (569 Newton meters) of torque.
Porsche has not yet confirmed the arrival of the 911 Sport Classic for its 992 generation. However, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the coming months. It will likely be limited in number, as was the case with the 250 units sold last year.
