Porsche 911 Sport Classic Spied On Road In Light Camouflage

Porsche has a retro-styled 911 in the works for its fans.

The Porsche 911 Sport Classic will give the classic sports coupe a retro look. These spy shots give a good preview of what you can expect.

This 911 Sport Classic’s nose has the same front fascia as the current Turbo model. There is no camo visible except for some black tape covering the Porsche emblem.

The lines of the hood are slightly different. These elements are similar to the indentations on the double-bubble roofing if you allow your eyes to follow the lines.

The Sport Classic is distinguished by its side view. The wheels are center-lock and have five pairs with skinny spokes. Production version will be available with Fuchs-style, retro-look wheels.

The ducktail spoiler is the most noticeable. Zoom in on the images to see the black tape at the edges and underside.

View from the tail shows the location of the third brake light. The spoiler’s tip is visible. 911 Turbo has the lower fascia, with its large oval-shaped outlets.

It is unknown what the powertrain of the Sport Classic will be. It is believed that it will share an engine with 911 GTS. The model would be equipped with a twin-turbo flat-six 3.0-liter engine that produces 473 horsepower (352 Kilowatts) as well as 420 pound-feet (569 Newton meters) of torque.

According to our spy, the Sport Classic will debut in February 2022. Although we aren’t sure if that’s true, the light covering of this car suggests Porsche doesn’t see any reason to hide its styling.

The Sport Classic will be limited in availability. Porsche made only 250 units of its previous iteration. They were all sold by before the model was even introduced.
