What Porsche is complete without leather-covered air vents
The new generation Porsche 911 is out, and it’s hard to disagree that it’s amazing. Although it aims to improve in every way over its predecessor, that doesn’t make it any less good than the 991 series. The outgoing 911 is still in production, and there are some modifications. One of these modifications is the Targa GTS, which is rare and costly but is a great case.
According to this YouTuber Nick Murray’s 9:11-minute video ( ofcourse…), Targa models retain more value than the GT3 variants. This is incredible. This example is from the 2018 MY. It is extremely well-specced and has everything you could want. You may not even know of some of these things.
It has leather-covered air vents. It’s an odd feature, sure, but it’s not the most expensive at $1,720. Porsche is happy to sell you carbon fiber side mirror caps or body-color-matching washers for $295 if you don’t want to spend $1,395.
There are many smart extra features, such as the black LED headlights for $2765 and the Dynamic Chassis control system for $3160. The most striking extra feature on this car, however, is the custom-tailored fabric seats that cost $11,485.
Let’s now talk about the cost of the whole car. The Targa GTS is priced at $139,850 in the U.S. This particular Targa GTS has almost all of the options and accessories for $199,585. Think of it this way: For the money you spend on options, you can still buy a $56,900 Cayman base and still have some grand.
