It’s not beautiful, but it should be affordable.
Porsche-philes love the classic Porsche 911 models. These cars only require air to cool their rear-mounted engines. The purity of these cars is unmatched, and anyone who has ever had the pleasure to talk to one will know exactly what I mean.
However, I am unsure how these 911 enthusiasts would feel about the build we stumbled across Bonhams via Silodrome. Although it was originally a 1971 Porsche 911T, the final product may raise eyebrows.
The listing states that the build was created by Alexandre Danton in France. He is well-known for his hot rods made from European exotics and classics. This 911 is a hot rod, powered by a 6.75-liter Bentley engine. It was sourced from a Bentley Mulsanne turbo.
Danton removed the wheel wells in order to fit the huge wheels. The massive wheels are attached to a double-wishbone front suspension system with coilover spring/dampers. The interior is spartan, reminiscent of an old-fashioned race car. It features aluminum bucket seats and a basic instrument pan.
Other information on the build is not available at the moment, aside from the fact that it is currently being offered for purchase under “instructions of a high-court ruling.” The vehicle comes with only copy paperwork.
The build is not in tip-top condition. Bonham‘s rating indicates that the chrome and plastic parts as well as brakes and engine start mechanism all require attention, but they are still usable.
What is the price? The price?
