The GT4 field with the best sound?
The Porsche flat-six engine is a favorite in racing for its reliability and distinctive sound. A recent video from YouTuber Belgian Motorsport shows an Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport speeding around Zolder Circuit during a test session.
The vehicle still produces the flat-six engine sound that racers love, even with the 100-cell catalytic convertors. Although the Clubsport does not have a sequential gearbox, it produces a satisfying pop between gear shifts – entry-level racers still use a PDK unit.
Although other GT4 cars like the Maserati MCM and the Chevy Camaro would be victorious in a competitive event, the German rival is no slouch. The Porsche’s lack of power is compensated for by its light, balanced performance. A joint strike force of electronic systems, including stability control, anti-lock brakes and traction control, is also included in the Porsche.
Regardless of how good they sound and perform, it is clear that Porsche is equally committed to its programs at all levels and classes. The German automaker is a platform for rising stars in motorsport and has helped actors such as CJ Wilson, Michael Fassbender realize their dreams of being a race driver.
