For further testing, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS will be at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. These pictures show very little camouflage.

The engineers wrap the wing endplates in black tape and cover the edges of the front fascia. The bases of the swanneck wing supports may be smaller than they appear on the production vehicle, but that is because there’s still a lot of material on them.

These photos show two different versions of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. The LB license plate comes with black center-lock wheels and a slightly different front splitter lip. The example with the B plate has a more mild appearance and five-lug wheels. Below, you can see a comparison of them by using the slider comparator tool.

GT4 RS is said to use a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts). Details about the gearbox are not yet available, but it is possible that the GT4 RS will share the six-speed manual transmission and a seven speed PDK from the 911 GT3.

We’ve been able to test the 718 Cayman GT4 RS since September 2019, . It seems that the official debut of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS is not far off considering the progress in the public eye. The Porsche team has done enough. The hotter model will likely be available before the year ends. Rumours suggest that the RS would start at $130,000. The possibility of a different front fascia and center-lock wheels is intriguing.
