Porsche has released a video that highlights the characteristics of the rear axle steering system in the 911 Carrera.
Porsche has released a new video highlighting the qualities of the rear axle steering system of the new 911 Carrera Rear-axle steering was previously reserved for 911 Turbo and 911 GT3 models. It is now available for all 2016 911 Carrera S models. The company claims that the system “enhances performance as well as everyday practicality in equal measures”.
Rear wheels move in the opposite direction of front wheels at low speeds. This makes it easier to park and maneuver. Rear wheels move in the same direction that the front wheels at high speeds. This results in “a virtual extension” of the wheelbase and improved driving stability.
