Porsche Design’s 2022 Porsche 911 Edition 50 years Porsche Design comes with a long name to commemorate the semicentennial celebration of the division that creates high-end accessories. Only 750 are being made.
This special edition vehicle comes with a 911 Targa 4 GTS . The majority of the body is black but the Targa bars are Satin Platinum. The doors feature Porsche Design logos, and the rear deck grille has a badge indicating 50 years of Porsche Design.
These cars ride on center-locking Turbo S wheels with a 20-inch diameter at the front and 21 inches at its back. High-gloss black is the finish on the brake calipers.
The seats are made of a combination of Black and Cool Grey Sport-Tex material. The 50 Years Porsche Design logo is on the headrests. Slate Grey is also used as the center marker for the GT Sport steering wheels. The dashboard has a silver-colored, numbered plaque that indicates the vehicle’s position in the production run. Also, the center console lid bears Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, founder of Porsche Design.
The special edition includes extra features not found on the 911 Targa 4 GTS. The company’s 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus are included in this special edition. The Porsche Design Subsecond Clock is included in the Sport Chrono Package. It has a red secondhand. Slate Grey seat belts
The powertrain is unchanged. 911 Targa 4 GTS is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbo flat-six engine that produces 473 horsepower (352 Kilowatts) as well as 420 pound-feet (569 Newton meters) of torque. The standard model comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, but you can choose a 7-speed manual at no additional cost.
The all-black Chronograph 1, Porsche Design’s original product, was its first product. Two new timepieces are being launched by Porsche Design to celebrate its 50th anniversary. These are the Chronograph1 – 911 50 years of Porsche Design and Chronograph1 -1972 Limited Edition.
Each 911 Targa 4 GTS will include the Chronograph 1 Porsche Design – 911 50 Years. After the $1,350 destination charge, the pair will be $197,200. They will be available for delivery by spring 2022.
Porsche will make only 500 copies of the Chronograph 1-1972 Limited Edition. They will be identical in size and design to the original and will feature the Porsche Design logo. One will be available for $7,700.
