It is a striking color that will catch the eye.

Porsche was caught testing the refreshed Macan with a lime green test muese. Although it is not obvious that the model still sports camouflage, these photos show the best glimpse yet at the changes to the popular SUV from the German automaker.

The Macan’s refreshed front bumper has been slightly modified. It now has one strake in each corner intake, while the LED running light is smaller. With its simpler layout and smaller intakes, the new lower fascia is similar to that on the Macan GTS. This particular example features redesigned headlights that feature X-shaped running lamps.

Porsche hides the taillights of the test mule at the rear. However, their general shape is easily seen. The SUV’s square exhaust outlets are similar to the ones found on the Macan Turbo. The diffuser is slightly smaller.

Although these photos don’t depict the Macan’s cabin (above), an earlier photo captured a wonderful view of it. Porsche can move the central HVAC vents down, which allows them to increase the screen’s width.

The most unclear aspect of the new Macan is its powertrain changes. Rumours suggest that a diesel engine could be added to the range, at least in Europe and other markets where these engines are still popular. The hybrid engine has a good chance to be added to the options list.

According to reports, the refreshed Macan will be available for purchase before the end the year. It appears that Porsche is wrapping up the development of the crossover seen in these cars.

The Macan became a key product within a short time of its launch. The company delivered 97,000 vehicles to the United States in 2017, making it responsible for almost 40% of the 246,000 automaker deliveries in the country in 2017.
