Just a few seconds after the nose is opened, a new inlet appears.
We are still not sure what Porsche is doing with these odd Panameras. It seems too early to consider a refresh. Another option is the Turbo GT, which the company may call a hotter model. These photos capture the model at the Nurburgring as well as in southern Europe.
The front bumper of this model has been redesigned with new intakes. A new inlet is located at the tip, just above the license plates.
One shot shows the cabin through an open window. There is a fabric covering inside, suggesting styling tweaks. It’s difficult to see the changes Porsche has made in this photo.
The rear is almost identical to the Panamera’s high-end trims with dual oval-shaped exhausts. In the middle of the lower fascia, between the pipes, is a vertical rib.
Our spy claims that a Porsche insider has confirmed the Panamera’s Turbo GT version. This would be the sedan sibling of the Cayenne Turbo. It will also share the twin-turbo V8 of 4.0-liters that produces 631 horsepower (471 Kilowatts) as well as 626 pound-feet (849 Newton meters).
This would make it the latest Panamera Turbo S. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 620 horsepower (462 kW), and 604 lbft (820Nm). This power allows the vehicle to travel 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds.
This Porsche Panamera might be unveiled at a later date. The development seems complete, judging by the small amount of camouflage. To premiere the product, all that is required by the company is a gap in their busy product launch schedule.
