It’s not bad. It’s not bad at all.
Prior Design has a long history of tuning electric vehicles. Although we’ve seen a few EVs modified at the multi-brand tuning firm, mostly Tesla models. This Porsche Taycan is a new creation for the studio. Prior Design actually considers the Taycan the “perfect platform for a vehicle that is predestined for tuning.”
The photo gallery below shows how this project could be described as a typical Prior Design job. The Taycan looks more aggressive with the addition of a widebody kit and a large fixed wing at its back.
The Kamp-Lintfort-based company has given the car wide fenders and additional air openings at its front. The Taycan now measures 60 mm wider at its front and 100 mm back thanks to body extensions. German experts promise that the electric sedan will “turn heads wherever they appear” – but we don’t know if that’s true.
A set of aggressive side skirts and matching 22-inch, multi-piece five-twin spoke wheels complement the wider fenders. The tuned Taycan has a lower overall stance thanks to diffusers on both the bumpers.
Prior Design claims that all components can be made from high-quality carbon. A slightly more subtle body kit will also be available. This will remove the larger fenders and give it a more restrained look. On request, pricing and availability information are available.
