Although it is slightly larger with 2.0 liters of displacement, it produces even more power at 525 horsepower (386 kW). This modified version is available. However, the power of this A-Class Extreme is more manageable. Posaidon upgrades the M139 2.0-liter engine with a stronger turbo. Posaidon tweaks the engine to make it more harmonious. The extra horsepower is accompanied by a boost in torque to 442 pound feet (600 Newton-meters). This gives all four wheels more control. Although this hot hatches won’t feel as powerful as Group B cars, Posaidon claims that the RS 525 can still reach 62 mph (100 km/h), in 3.4 seconds. The car can reach 201 mph (324 km/h), which, in a flat out, is quite fast for a hatchback.
Posaidon offers a tracktool upgrade, which is a way to increase your power. It adds a variety of suspension, brake and chassis upgrades to the A45, making it a road-legal racing car. A roll cage replaces the back seat. Racing harnesses are used for the front seats. The corners are equipped with two-way adjustable coilovers. Upgraded 14.25-inch brakes have steel-flex lines and are fitted with upgraded brakes.
Posaidon, a informal lapper at the Nurburgring talks about following a new-generation Porsche 911 GT3RS driver and staying on the track for the entire lap. The Porsche driver was described as a total stranger and the company freely admits that they don’t know how hard the GT3 RS was being pushed. The lap was hailed as a benchmark and although no stopwatches were running the data-params=”%7B%22alias%22%3A%22porsche%22%7D” data-type-id=”2″>Porsche driver was said to be a complete stranger. They believe their RS 525 could lap Nordschleife in 7 minutes 20 seconds.
