Suzuki has published the first images and information about the Alto RS Turbo. It will be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2019.
This is the turbocharged version for Japanese markets of the Alto standard. The 660cc petrol engine provides power, although there are no details about the maximum output.
It is built on a new platform, and it is up to 60kg (132 lbs lighter) than its predecessor. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed CVT for the standard Kei car. The same setup is expected for RS Turbo.
The turbo modification is visually different from the regular Alto, with red accents on the bumpers, red mirror caps, and red 17-inch alloy tires.
The model will be available in Japan starting in March 2015.
