Aston Martin is said to be considering a Cygnet equipped with a V12 motor. It is likely that it would be made to order.
According to Autocar magazine, Aston Martin is looking at a Cygnet engine and V12 engine.
Autocar sources claim that the company has completed a feasibility analysis and determined that the 6.0-liter V12 with 510 bhp (308 kW) and 457 Lb-ft (462 Nm) of torque can fit into the engine bay. To handle the V12’s additional power and weight, however, the car will still need to be upgraded.
Jalopnik.com’s fun-loving gents called Matthew Clarke at Aston Martin to confirm their suspicions. Clarke replied, “Looks as if they were reheating a Jalopnik tale to me.” Clarke says that while Clarke is sure that the Jalops will appreciate that compliment, it’s not yet been built.
It’s not an admission or denial, but Matt Hardigree of Jalopnik doesn’t believe the idea because it’s so absurd. We don’t either!Click the Jalopnik link below to view the funny graphic they created.
