Genesis is a lover of stretching things. The new HTML70 was first seen in October 2020, as had its covers removed. We now know the price of the GV70 for those who reside in the United States.
The cheapest GV70 starts at just $41,000. All-wheel drive is available with a turbocharged 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower (224 kilowatts). You also get a host of standard safety and assist systems for the driver, including LED lights front and back, heated seats, LED lights rear and side, and a digital cockpit that features an 8-inch digital instrument screen and a 14.5 inch center screen. All GV70 models, including the V6, are powered by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The $45,000 2.5T Select model adds spiffy tires, a panoramic roof and aluminum trim to the vehicle. It also features ventilated front seat, upgraded stereo and more. For $49,150, the 2.5T Advanced adds more safety tech to the vehicle. The $52,750 Sport Prestige is the most expensive four-pot GV70 available. You get leather inside, 21-inch wheels and more driver-assist technology for that price.
The 3.5T Standard is priced at $52,600, if you are looking for more power in the GV70. Twin-turbocharged V6 of 3.5-liter capacity produces 375 horsepower (280 kW) and offers most of the same features as its 2.5 liter counterpart. mostly is the correct term, as the base V6 version comes with more features, such as a panoramic roof, electronic controlled suspension, 19-inch wheels and ventilated seats. The 3.5T Sport Advanced is $57,600 while the 3.5T serves as the GV70 flagship at 62,500. This quick reference chart will help you see all the details at once.
The GV70’s start price is $2,000 less than luxury German competitors, and it has more standard gear. The BMW X3 sDrive30i is priced at $43,000 and features a rear-wheel drive system and a turbocharged 248 hp (285 kW) four-cylinder. For $43,200, the Mercedes GLC 300 includes rear-wheel drive as well as a 2.0-liter engine producing 255 horsepower (190 kW). With its turbo-four producing 261 horsepower (195 kW), the Audi Q5 Premium45 TFSI costs $43,300, it is perhaps the closest comparable. The GV70 costs approximately $2,000 less than its German counterpart, which excludes dedicated performance models.
Genesis has not yet provided a time frame for the GV70’s release, but it is expected that it will be available in April.
