You had trouble finding a BMW 1M so you decided to settle for a 135i. There is a solution.
German tuner Prior Design offers a body conversion to all non-M-1Series E82 models. The widebody kit includes a front bumper facia, vents, a hood with vents and widened frontfenders (with an M-badge turn indicator light), as well as side skirts. Prior Design mentioned that rear wheel arch widthenings are possible, but they are not visible in these photos unless they’re fabricated/welded on top of the existing arches.
The initial production limit of 2700 BMW 1M units was increased to the summer 2012. It is not certain that the additional units will meet demand. This body kit, known as PDM1WB, could be an alternative to many 1-Series E82 owners.
