Production Honda NSX arrives in Geneva with turbo V6 engine and electric motors

The European debut of the Honda NSX production model was made possible by the Geneva Motor Show.

The production version of the Honda NSX has finally been introduced in Europe during the Geneva Motor Show.

The vehicle is essentially a rebadged Acura version for North America. It features a twin-turbo V6 engine with “northern of 550 horsepower”, which is supported by three electrical motors. Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive sends power to all 4 wheels via a dual-clutch 9-speed manual gearbox. Two electric motors are used to vector torque, and the third sits between the transmission and the combustion engine.

The vehicle rides on 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear with 245/35Z rear tires front and back.

The dial-operated Integrated Dynamic System has four riding modes: Sport, Sport, Sport+, Track. These adjust the settings of the engine and electric motors, the gearbox, and the engine sound level. Launch uses all electric motors as well as the V6 units for a “zero delay launch performance.”
