Production of Aston Martin’s Project Neptune Submersible Starts

Luxurious luxury allows you to explore the depths of the earth.

You’ll be glad to hear that production has begun for the Aston Martin limited-edition submersible. Production will begin later in the year. Make sure to have your $3.3 million ready.

Aston announced that they were partnering with Triton Submarines. Since then, both have made significant improvements to the interior packaging, hydrodynamics and body styling. While the submersible is still capable of diving to 500m (1,650ft), the company has increased its initial speed from four miles an hour to speeds greater than 5.7 mph (or 5 knots). Aston and Triton increased speed by increasing power, decreasing frontal area and improving hydrodynamic efficiency.

The submarine, which was announced by Aston and Triton as Project Neptune in April of this year, was believed to have a 30-kWh battery pack that could provide enough power for 12 hours. The submarine was reported to weigh in at four tons.

The interior of the submersible can carry two passengers and a pilot in luxurious comfort. Aston Martin’s in house design team has created three Designer Specifications that allow for a variety of trim and color combinations. Aston Martin’s Q by Aston Martin bespoke service will allow for customization. When in the submersib, passengers will enjoy such luxury amenities as air conditioning

John Ramsay, Chief Technical Officer of Triton Submarines, says that the interior is “quite Aston Martin” – a luxurious mixture of hand-stitched leather, high-performance carbon fiber and assembled without obstructing panoramic sight-lines.

Project Nepute is a great option for another non-conventional Aston Martin, the Am37S Speedboat. Yes, the AM37 has a sequel. This allows sea-going gals and men to enjoy the complete oceanic experience. You can dive into the ocean or glide across it using a pair Mercury Racing engines of 520 horsepower. You have the option of two options: dive into an underwater ecosystem or skim across it with a pair of 520-horsepower Mercury Racing engines.
