Quintet Of Custom Ford Mustangs Head To SEMA [UPDATE]

They show off a variety of aftermarket parts for Pony Cars.

Accessories for the Ford Mustang Over 50 years of experience and a variety of aftermarket tuners eager to capitalize on the customization craze have helped to bring in thousands of people. The SEMA Show, the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s annual show in Las Vegas, is the place to find the latest aftermarket products for various vehicles. The show is welcomed by automakers who use it to highlight their products and showcase builds from other companies. Ford This year, five Mustangs will be on display at the show. TJIN Edition and CGS Motorsports are the five featured tuners.

The 2018 Mustang coupe is used by all five with a six speed manual gearbox. Four opt for the GT with its 5.8-liter V8 – CGS Motorsports and CJ Pony Parts. Galpin Auto Sports and Bojix Design. TJIN Edition modified Mustang’s EcoBoost 2.3-liter engine.

Bojix Design Mustang GT comes with a Procharger Stage 2 supercharger and Bojix Design supercar exhaust. The Ford Performance driveshaft loop is also included. Bojix also chooses Ford Performance springs shocks and sway bars as well as two-piece Brembo brake discs and fixed calipers.

Recaro Sportster CR Black leather seats are added to the interior. The rear seats have been removed. Kicker Audio adds acoustic power with its 10-inch L7 solo baric subwoofers. The outside features include an Air Design front bumper, splitter, rocker panels and hood, APR carbon fibre front splitter and drag wings, and unique Bojix PPG painting scheme.

CGS Motorsports has added a Ford Performance/Roush supercharger to boost power and a Ford Performance catback exhaust with carbon fibre tips. Stopping power is increased by six-piston Brembo calipers. CGS has Air Design hood vents, rear spoiler and a custom Axalta paint job by Andy Meeh from Flying Iron Designs. The Mustang interior features Napa leather and Diode Dynamics LED lighting.

CJ Pony Parts has this Mustang ready for the track. The supercharged, 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 700 horsepower. It was sourced from Ford Performance/Roush. The Ford Performance cat-back exhaust features carbon fiber tips and a Ford Performance short throw shifter. Ford Performance lowering springs and UPR independent rear suspension upgrades are included in the chassis. Sikky Manufacturing hydraulic handbrakes can be used for extreme drifts.

Anderson Composites’ wide-body kit, trunk, and hood are included. Roush Performance front splitter is also featured. The car also features a dark shadow grey paint scheme from GCR Collision. The Mustang features Ford Performance seats from Recaro, Watson Racing rollcage, and a Corbeau five point safety harness. Complete the look with HRE FF04 satin-gold wheels.

The Galpin Auto Sports widebody Mustang features a variety of Ford Performance parts such as a Ford Performance/Roush turbocharger, Ford Performance catback exhaust, Ford Performance short throw shifter, Ford Performance driveshafts and half-shafts, Ford Performance fixed caliper brakes and Ford Performance Shelby GT350R supercharger.

The car’s exterior features include the Galpin Auto Sports widebody kits with full gourd effects. These include a splitter and side skirts, rear slats, rear sliders and diffuser. The car is finished in a Galpin Auto Sports custom paint scheme and custom seat inserts.

The EcoBoost Mustang TJIN Edition EcoBoost is all about blending style and performance. Ford Performance cat-back exhaust and BorgWarner high performance turbocharger are included. The Ford Performance shifter is also featured. A Ford Performance strut brace provides additional rigidity. The suspension is fully adjustable by Air Lift 3H and the front brakes are big Baer Grizzlie.

The EcoBoost Mustang features an RTR body kit and QuickLift Hood props. Yellow fog lights, custom bodywork by LTMotorwerks and Electric Purple paint from PPG. Recaro Sportster CS black Katzkin leather seats hug the front seats, while Katzkin leather wraps the back seats. LTMotorwerks designed the Kicker Audio system that plays the music.
