FCA has been the only truck manufacturer to experience any market growth in five years. FCA gained a 3.6% market share in full-size, which brings it to 22.2 per cent. This number is still far below GM’s 33.3 percent share in the full-size segment (for Chevy and GMC), and Ford’s 37.6percent. Toyota and Nissan will take what’s left.

These two companies are also going head to head on tailgates. Ram’s new 60/40 split Multifunction tailgate was discovered in Chicago. This tailgate is attempting to surpass GMC’s six-way MultiPro tailgate. Buyers have more reasons to consider these truck manufacturers when making their next purchase thanks to the steep incentives.
