Side decals are a throwback to the 1980s.
The Land Rover Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic’s name is unusually long, but Manhart has just extended it with the SV600 package. The “600” refers to the power that the SUV packs under its black hood. An ECU remap has given the supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine about 10% more power than stock.
The torque has been increased from a healthy 502 pound-feet (680 Newton meters) to 553lb-ft (753 Nm), which should improve performance. Manhart doesn’t say anything about how the upgraded engine affects the vehicle’s acceleration. However, the flagship Velar can go from 0-60 mph (96 km/h), in just 4.3 seconds. It’ll reach a respectable 170 mph (274 km/h) flat out.
To enhance the supercharged sound of the 5.0, the German tuner also modified the exhaust system. Manhart also removed the OEM wheels to make way for his own set of 23-inch wheels in black to match the body’s dark finish. The retro-inspired side decals that remind us of the 1980s make for an interesting vehicle.
Manhart did not make any changes to the SUV’s stylish exterior. Therefore, the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic chassis and brakes are the same as the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic. The interior is also very luxurious, although the tuner states that it’s open to making changes if the owner wishes to personalize the SUV.
