Rare Porsche 911 Edition 918 Spyder Is Ready For A New Owner

Only 918 examples were made, much like the supercar of the same name.

Only 918 examples were made between 2013-2015 of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Each and every one of these hypercars costing millions was snapped up quickly, so it’s not surprising that you will pay more than $2 million to search the market for a used, well-kept example. If you are looking for something with the “918” branding, there is another option.

This Porsche 911 Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder is rare. It was made in 2012, alongside the 918. The coupe was priced at $160,700, while the Spyder was priced at $1172,100. It also came with the same 530-horsepower engine (395-kilowatts) as the 911 Turbo S.

Nearly all 911s were sold within a few hours, just like the hypercar of the same name. One example of the one-off 911 is still available for purchase on the used market, and it’s not cheap. It’s currently listed on Bring a Trailer at a bid of $90,000. There is only one day left in the auction. Although it’s not the most affordable 911, it is certainly one of the most unique.

The 911 was also limited in production and came with carbon fiber trim inside and out. The interior was also upgraded with new leather and stitching. It still produces 530 hp (395 kW), thanks to a 3.8-liter flat six paired with a seven speed PDK.

This particular vehicle has only driven 16,800 miles (27.036 km) and comes with a clean Carfax and Oregon title. A few minor modifications were made to the vehicle, including an aftermarket GMG ceramic-coated exhaust and a GIAC tune. It is number 92 out of 918 as indicated by the placard at the dash and could be yours if you are willing to pay the high asking price.
