It is the most powerful Captur version to date.

Renault has finally introduced a more powerful version of its Captur crossover model, which is one of the most popular models in Europe. Limited-edition S-Edition Captur’s turbo gasoline engine, TCe with 150 horsepower (112 Kilowatts) delivers “unprecedented dynamics performance.” Customers can choose from either a dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.

Its unique Iron Blue body paint and contrasting roof in Etoile Black, or Platine Grey make the vehicle stand out. The S-Edition will be available in eight other two-tone colors. Standard features include 17-inch alloys with S-Edition badgering.

Two other engines are also available for the new S-Edition: a turbo gasoline unit with 120 horsepower (89 kW) or a four-cylinder 1.5-liter diesel with 110 horsepower (82 kW). The standard Captur was updated about a year ago. It received new smart-looking, full-LED headlights and new alloy wheels designs. There are also additional customization options. The 2017 Captur received the R-Link infotainment platform with Android Auto integration, as well as an optional premium Bose audio system. For the higher trim levels, blind spot warning and automatic parking are available. There were no engine changes.
