Renault Megane Grandtour Shows Sharper Front Styling

You will also notice smaller changes at the back.

The Renault Megane range is getting a facelift. These photos show how the changes look on the Grandtour wagon. The revisions will be available on all models of this family in 2020.

The exterior design of the Megane models has not been changed. The camouflage shows that the lines around the front grille are more defined and the headlights have been modified in a similar way. The taillights at the rear are slightly different and require a slight resculpting to improve the appearance of the bumper.

Megane’s interior has not been shown in spy shots. The exterior changes suggest that major cabin changes are unlikely. Improvements to the infotainment system and active safety tech are possible in order to remain competitive.

According to Renault, the Megane range would see some new engines or updates. According to spy shots, a plug-in hybrid will be among the new additions.

According to current speculation, the Megane family’s first refresh would be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2020. The company will likely start with the five-door body. The rest of the year will see the arrival of the revised Trophy and other variations.

The Megane faces increasing competition from a new family of Volkswagen-Golf-derived models starting to arrive in Europe. This new tech is also being used by Skoda, SEAT, and other VW-derived models. The newly merged FCA and PSA could be a more formidable challenger.
