One that would probably never happen.

Pickup trucks tend to be overlooked by new car buyers in Europe. Europe’s narrower roads and more densely populated cities than North America mean that there are more registrations for smaller, more efficient vehicles. The C-segment is the most popular segment, with cars such as the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus and Renault Megane dominating the charts.

Most European manufacturers consider pickups taboo. Opel, Citroen and Skoda have never offered European customers a utility vehicle like this. These marques’ designers have likely never created pickups. This is the belief of one of Renault’s leading designers.
Francois Lebione, CarsGuide said that pickups are a restricted field for Renault in a recent interview. “We have Alaskan, which is [Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi] alliance, and another [the Renault Oroch] which is based on the Dacia Duster. As a designer, however, I would love to draw a pickup truck, especially one that is large. It’s an old dream for European designers. Designers love to work on things they don’t usually see.

According to Lebione, he is a fan Tesla’s Cybertruck. Many have criticized the design for being too angular and untraditional. He told the publication that it was perfect as a design exercise. It’s simple design is the best way to be recognized as an artist and designer. It is iconic and has a brutality. Could you do something similar? It’s a design exercise that I like, but I don’t know.
