One of these could be one we have already seen.
One of the most anticipated 2020 reveals is the Ford Bronco. Although we have seen a lot of information leaks, including the Bronco Sport version, there is still much to learn about the new off-roader. The latest information on the SUV continues to leak. It comes from a new Ford Authorityreport.
According to the publication, “sources familiar” with the project claim that the new Bronco will have three distinct grille styles: Classic, Modern, and Custom. However, Ford could change their names before sales begin. The three styles will have distinct styling. We may have seen the Modern one in leaked photographs. It is the black grille, with bold BRONCO letters and sleek headlights.
The Classic grille is exactly what you would expect. It’s a modern-day Bronco-inspired grille. The Custom grille, according to Ford Authority, will be flashier than the others and will have a “more shiny, upscale look.” Ford will also adapt the three Bronco Sport grilles, but it was not clear to the publication whether the automaker would limit grilles to specific trims or packages.
Ford had stated that the new Bronco would be revealed this spring. Many expected a Detroit Auto Show appearance in June. Ford confirmed that the show was cancelled, but that it plans to still reveal the Bronco this spring, despite the coronavirus. However, the Bronco Sport, which was due to debut in April, was delayed by the pandemic. The smaller Bronco could be launched in May or June.
Ford Bronco and the smaller Bronco Sports are both important for the automaker. It announced that it would stop producing cars a few years back and instead focus on trucks, SUVs and crossovers. The Bronco is part of this strategy. It’s a brand new SUV in a market where they are still the most popular, and it also marks the return of an iconic Ford model. This has fans on edge. They are worried it will become soft, despite Ford insisting that the new Bronco lives up to its off-road heritage.
