According to the C_Two, it also has Level 4 autonomous technology so that this hypercar can drive itself.
Rimac unveiled the C_Two electric hypercar. The claimed specs are so incredible that they border on the unbelievable. It is said to produce 1,888 horsepower (1.408 kilowatts), and 1,696 pound feet (2.300 Newton-meters), of torque. The vehicle can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 1.85 seconds, and a maximum speed of 256 miles per hour (412 kph). The powertrain reportedly gives C_Two a range of 404 miles (650 km) in the NEDC test.
A driver can give control to the machine if they aren’t confident handling such an insane performance. Rimac claims that the C_Two will have Level 4 autonomous capability, meaning that the onboard computers could drive the car completely autonomously.
The navigation system can load race tracks, provide information about the best racing line and braking points, and it’s a feature straight out of a videogame.
Because there are so many intakes and strakes to draw the eyes, the C_Two has a complex take on the classic look of a mid engined supercar. Active flaps allow for modification of the aerodynamics at front. The angular body is covered by a monocoque of carbon fiber and a subframe.
The interior is futuristic for a vehicle boasting such high performance claims. The driver is directly in front of a large digital screen, while the infotainment display is located on the middle console. For controlling elements such as the climate control, smaller electronic displays are scattered throughout the cabin. The cabin is trimmed with carbon fiber and suede.
Rimac welcomes inquiries about the C_Two. With the first deliveries expected in 2020, Rimac intends to make 150. The price is not mentioned, but you can expect to pay the same as the incredible performance.
