The Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV is a contradiction in terms. It is powerful with a twin-turbocharged 6.75 liter V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower (420kilowatts) as well as 627 pound-feet (625 Newton-meters of torque). You can also use it with permanent all-wheel drive or four-wheel steering and the latest suspension and drive modes to conquer difficult terrains, just like an SUV.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan is The Most Unlikely Rally Car

Our Roadshow colleagues decided to join a Cullinan for a week-long offroading adventure called Rebelle Rally. Rebelle Rally, for the uninitiated is the first woman’s off-road navigation raid in the United States. The Cullinan, who has more than 1,243 miles (2,200 kilometers) to cover between Nevada and California, is an unlikely candidate for the rally stage.

Note that the Cullinan was here fitted with stock wheels as there weren’t any off-road tires to fit the 21 inch rims. The luxury SUV managed to survive and won the Rebelle Rally’s first place.

Roadshow captured the entire thing in this 20-minute video. Although it was quite entertaining, it was also very comfortable. However, there were many challenges along the journey. Although the Cullinan might not be your first choice for a rally car, it is equally capable as any other rally vehicle.
