Rolls-Royce Wraith Shooting brake spotted with timeless design

This is a large, luxurious coupe with plenty of trunk space.

Based on a recent spy footage of the two-door wagon, it seems that a new RollsRoyce Wraith camera brake is on its way. A nice coincidence was that Instagram account, wilcoblok shared photos of another Wraith-based two door wagon and allowed Motor1.com to republish the photos.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Shooting brake spotted with timeless design

Rolls-Royce Wraith Shooting brake spotted with timeless designThe Wraith shooting brake conversion seems to be of high quality craftsmanship. This coupe has a different roofline than the original to create a flatter top. This modification requires a new side glass panel with a more round shape than the production vehicle. The rear hatchback is the most noticeable change.

It is unclear how the panel opens. The hinges mounted on the roof appear to limit the panel’s movement, which would make it difficult to store cargo in the back. This problem could be solved by side-mounted hinges, but it doesn’t seem like there’s enough space for this layout without hitting the body.

It’s possible to notice some design differences when you compare this Wraith shooting brake (left), and the one in spy video (right). The white line running through the taillights of the newer vehicle is a contrast to the red lamps in the older model. Although the exhaust outlet shape is identical, the locations of the lamps are slightly different.
The arrival date of the Wraith’s new shooting brake is not known at this time. Rolls-Royce is teasing the launch of its new Ghost on September 1. This unveiling will be followed by other Rolls-Royce announcements. It is possible that the two-door wagon was made for a wealthy client who wanted a more practical coupe. The variant is unlikely to be a part of the entire lineup due to insufficient demand.
