Nico Rosberg revealed that he would be open to sharing a Mercedes GP car with the most successful F1 driver in history.
According to Motorsport Aktuell, the comments made by the German 24-year-old to the Swiss specialist publication will only increase speculation that Michael Schumacher, his countryman, is planning a spectacular return to the grid which he left at the end 2006.
Rosberg, who was already named Mercedes’ first driver in the 2010 season, stated that “it would be an interesting challenge and a great lineup.”
However, the former Williams driver denied that he would be willing to have Schumacher, 40, as a teammate. This suggests that it is unlikely.
He said, “Honestly, I don’t know.”
