The Ruf RGT-8 Prototyp V8 has an oil filler flap, a throwback from the 1972 Porsche 911. The antiroll bar, which is integrated into the chassis, adds 9kg (20 pounds) to car’s curb weight. The GT3 RS gearbox can be fitted to the vehicle and it will reach a maximum speed of 318 km/h (197 mph).

The output of the engines is the same for both the CTR Yellowbird biturbo and the RGT-8 Prototype. It produces 462 HP (344kW), while the RGT-8 Prototype generates 542 HP (404kW).
