Mauck Special Vehicles is probably a name that you don’t know. The MSV 1120s was built by the Worthington, Ohio-based specialty store. It can be used as a bus, RV, or limousine. The rare people mover, now 20 years old, is on sale. You might even be able to get it for a pretty affordable price.
The MSV 1120s are currently available on Bring a Trailer for $5,900. There are still six days of bidding. The MSV 1120s are brand new and cost more than $200,000 depending on how it is specced. The MSV 1120 is one of only 100 examples made by the shop from 1996 to 1999. It was the most advanced vehicle at the time. Famous people who owned MSV 1120s included George Foreman and Alan Jackson.
Although this one doesn’t have any celebrity connections, it’s still quite amazing. The fiberglass body is supported by a 144-inch base. A 454-cubic-inch Chevy V8 powers the four-speed automatic transmission. It’s paired with a Currie-built Ford nine inch differential. The vehicle has many components, including Ford Aeromax headlights, Jeep Grand Cherokee taillights and Dodge Viper driving lights. The MSV 1120s’ gross vehicle weight is 13,500 pounds (6.123 kilograms) and features suspension and braking components sourced directly from GM’s light trucks.
This type of capacity means that it can transport a lot. The MSV1120s has grey leather interior and grey carpet flooring. There are two bucket seats in the front and rear, as well as limousine-style bench seating. A wet bar is also included. This bus is a party bus.
According to the readout, the engine is in excellent condition with only 25,000 miles (40.233 kilometers) on it. The previous owner replaced the batteries in 2015 and changed the transmission fluid in 2016. In February last year, one more battery was installed.
